There are few things in life as gratifying as helping children, without exception, be able to attend school. In the struggle we have been carrying out in the Hushe Valley, we have seen the levels of schooling reach up to 82% from those of 40% in 2006.
In the valley of Hushe, we have regretted the death of two men of 22 and 65 years.

The education on offer in the Hushe Valley and the importance that has been given to education has been very poor. Up until just a short time ago, the percentage of children that finished primary school didn’t reach 50% and only 25% for girls in school.

As you can see in the photos, the registration numbers have gone up in Munawar school and especially the number of girls.
The bond campaign has shown a balance of 15,800 euros. With this money we will be able to pay for the costs of 316 needy girls and boys who are registered at Munawar school, as well as in other schools in the Hushe valley.
The number of girls and boys registered during 2013 was 372, of which 204 were girls and 168 were boys. 169 girls (83%) and 128 (76%) passed the course.
The women of the Hushe valley are making advances in getting their rights in a way that was unthinkable just a short time ago.
The school year has begun in the Munawar school and other schools in the Hushe valley. Soon it will be time to take final stock of the bonds campaign sponsored by the Baltistan Foundation.
