There are few things in life as gratifying as helping children, without exception, be able to attend school. In the struggle we have been carrying out in the Hushe Valley, we have seen the levels of schooling reach up to 82% from those of 40% in 2006.
In the valley of Hushe, we have regretted the death of two men of 22 and 65 years.
Mikel Alonso is a Basque prestigious photographer who travelled to the valley of Hushe in Pakistan together with volunteers from the Foundation in 2014.
The education on offer in the Hushe Valley and the importance that has been given to education has been very poor. Up until just a short time ago, the percentage of children that finished primary school didn’t reach 50% and only 25% for girls in school.
Here we submit the data on enrolments for school year 2015. This year we have managed to enrol 524 girls in the schools that we have been supporting in the Hushe valley since 2006.
