The women of the Hushe valley are making advances in getting their rights in a way that was unthinkable just a short time ago.

One of these rights is that of paid work. We know cases of girls with grants who finished their studies and have started to work in the Munawar school, but we can also mention those that have been connected to the Vocational Center. Last year we found out about three women of the valley who began to make clothes and uniforms for children.

Today we can talk about the case of Nahidah, a woman from Machulo whom the Foundation helped with 50,000 rp (356,15 euros) in order to carry out a market study. After finishing the study, Nahidah has decided to open a clothes shop for women in which she is selling products brought from Skardu, as well as other products in the Vocational Center. This is our 8 of March. The seeds they have planted have grown into robust plants.
