Hello Baltistan Foundation´s people.

Good morning:

May you get well and your feet will be better now. As our discussion in Machulo to do the women tour to Hunza, we have doing this . Now we are in Hunza Karimabad with 22 women from Hushe Valley. We were discussing to take 18 women but now many women were to go with us. So we took these all in Gilgit . Sleep a night in Gilgit. Visit with Wafa to the Nisa markets this one women Market in Gilgit. There are 37 shop in a place where only the women are allowed to enter and shop. So we spoke with the markets owner. She told us that there are mostly women who are widow, orphan and divorced women . They start from very few money but now many women have very good business and, many has their own car.

Second we have visited in a small market in the middle of the city. The women all interested and were very happy to see and herring. A woman of this market prays that BF (Baltistan Fundazioa) and FFB (Felix Foundation baltistan) are doing very well for the women empowerment. So when you people go back you should take a step and help to success FFB and BF.

Later we have visited the Sehat Foundation and met with LHVS. The Sehat Foundation team made a visit inside the hospital. Later the three LHV saw all women from Hushe valley they were very happy and request me to take them with us to Hunza. They take permission from the management and I took them to Karimabad . It was better for both women to share their experience. For the LHVs they will get a tour after a lot of working. So there are 25 women from Saling 3, Talis 3, Balaygone 2, Marzigone 1, Kahne 1, Kande 0, Hushe 2, Machulo 13 from each village one. Saima and I were with them.

I am personally feeling a big change with in Hushe Valley. I am feeling that the people have a big trust on this organization. That why they are sending there women from District without any feeling. I am optimist that we are doing well for the community.

Take care

Shamshair
