Pakistan has 108 peaks above 7,000 meters, more than 700 peaks are over 6000m and numerous peaks over 5,000m and 4,000m. Five of the 14 highest peaks in the world (8000m) are in Pakistan, four of which are in the vicinity of Concordia located at the confluence of Baltoro Glacier and Godwin Austen Glacier.

These are K2 (8,611m), Nanga Parbat (8126m), the Hidden Peak / Gasherbrum I (8068m), Broad Peak (8,047m) and Gasherbrum II (8,035m). This enormous wealth of mountains makes Baltistan, a region that offers great opportunities for adventure activities and trekking. The area is a paradise for mountaineers, adventurers and nature lovers.
